   This is brilliant, and just had to look up Conway’s game, this is insane. Organic, take on a life of it’s own. Tell me more, I think there is a powerful metaphor/vision/whatever in this I am missing. Brilliant!

   I’ve been all my life mesmerized by Conway’s game of life; last year DS106 ruined my life; this year processing enslaved me

   this is my revenge!!!

   in fact, I understand that most DS106 students are not programmers (it’s a pity, coding is fun), I would like to create some visualization assignments using processing but I don’t know if anybody would like to code for some stars

   anyway if you Jim think it’s worth enough we can think about it for a while

   on the other hand, I’ll try to create a small tutorial for using processing within a wordpress blog and then playing with this code, what do you think?

   I, for one, would like to see such a tutorial. Or any recommended links to resources to get a started with Worpress programming.

   hi Norm thanks for your interest

   processing is not exactly a tool for WordPress programming, but it is a nice way to introduce graphical elements within WordPress (as a post but also as a plugin, header, etc.)

   in another post I’ll explain how to use processing from WordPress and some small examples
